Huawei and E28, a China-based smart phone solution provider, recently announced that they have co-developed the world's first commercial IMS-based (IP Multimedia Subsystems) VCC (Voice Call Continuity) solution, aiming to speed up the commercialization of FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence). The solution is expected to offer dual mode subscribers high call quality and reliability while roaming between WiFi /WiMAX, and GSM / CDMA /UMTS networks.
